With regards to Chinatown, I personally like going to Lido. It's deco in the restaurant is not particularly interesting, going for pale walls and not much of a theme, but on the few times I've been, the dim sum is hot when they serve and on the cheaper side of prices (£1.80 getting you the 'small' dim sum) yet still offering a decent range of dishes. I've read a review on Plum Valley, also Chinatown, which sings songs of praise about the place, and to me it sounds like it is on par with Pearl Liang, with non-conventional chinese dimsum, yet still serving at a good quality. The prices are on the expensive side if you're comparing to the average dimsum in Chinatown. (See Suzie's Notes on the fellow food bloggers list :D)

I am still looking out for a tasty and affordable dim-sum place - any personal recommendations? :)

I used to visit Gerrards Corner a lot, but have no idea if it is still up to previous standards.
